The U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), National Acquisitions Program Unit (NAPU), has prepared this justification for other than full and open competition to acquire the following brand-name products on behalf of the TACOPS Ill / Tactical Operations Section / Operational Technology Division: Hawkeye Pro Semi-Rigid 90-degree Borescopes, Model HSR 009 0159 55. Specific characteristics of the borescopes that are specific to brand-name include: Semi-Rigid 90-degree Borescopes, Model HSR 009 0159 55, 0.9 mm diameter, 150 mm length, 55-degree field of view, 90 degree viewing angle. TACOPS Ill requires borescopes that match the original ones as closely as possible to minimize modifications of the TACOPS Ill's specialized equipment. The semi-rigid borescopes measure less than 1 mm diameter, 6 inches in length, a field of view of 55 degrees and a 90 degree look angle with a high pixel count of 10,000 pixels or more.
