This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Procurement Section, Facilities Acquisition Unit (FAU) is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ), 15F06721Q0000253, for the purpose of procuring services to fabricate, install, remove, maintain and/or modify equipment, perform maintenance and/or repairs on vehicles and related hauling systems, and install, remove and/or maintain existing equipment on several vehicle types to include, but not limited to, one-ton pickups, vans, large and small sport utility vehicles (SUVs), hauling Systems (e.g., trailers and components), and Utility Terrain Vehicles (UTVs). Contractors interested in competing for this effort must be within a 25-mile radius of 1000 Falls Run Drive, Fredericksburg, VA 22406, as vehicles will need to be transported to and from the contractor for services. Requirements for installation are outlined in the attached SOW.
