The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI), as defined in FAR 15.201(e). The Government is requesting information regarding the availability and capability of those companies who can provide advice to include support and services, specifically in the areas of information assurance (IA) and security. It is envisioned that the commercial entity will be using government furnished systems, software, and technology for all communications and work on behalf of the government. And the commercial entities will have the ability to share their approach/capabilities in meeting the requirements as presented in the attached RFI. Also, anywhere improvements can be made to this document, please provide constructive comments/edits/recommendations. Respondents need to explain/demonstrate that they have the resources (personnel, services, solutions, systems, intellectual capacity, etc.) required to fulfill the objectives stated in the attached RFI and Attachment 1. Attachment 1 is provided as a sample of performance functions in support of the CODIS Program. Please provide the RFI responses via email to Inger Rogers, FBI Contracting Officer, at irogers@fbi.gov no later than 1:00 pm (EST) 30 calendar days from the issuance of the RFI. No phone calls will be accepted. The subject line of the email correspondence shall read Cradle to Grave CODIS accreditation boundary Information Technology and Information Security Support (Company Name).
