The Bureau of Prisons (Bureau) is issuing this sources sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having the resources to support an urgent need for a Residential Reentry Center (RRC) within the City Limits of Scranton, Pennsylvania for services to begin on June 1, 2020 through May 31, 2021. The Bureau is seeking a total of 16 beds (12 male and 4 female) for RRC services and 10 Home Confinement placements (may be either male or female) located within the City Limits of Scranton, Pennsylvania. Due to the Bureau’s urgent need, the contractor must be able to meet the requirements outlined in the attached SOW and begin services on June 1, 2020. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals. The government assumes no financial responsibility for any cost incurred. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services by June 1, 2020, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, website address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization; 2) If your organization does not have the capacity for 16 beds, please indicate the maximum number of beds available to perform the contract services by June 1, 2020; and 3) capability statements addressing this effort to include appropriate documentation supporting capability to include valid proof of all zoning and local ordinance requirements necessary for the operation of a residential reentry center. Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the above-listed services are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by Wednesday, January 22, 2020.
