The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) is an agency of the Department of Justice (DOJ) is seeking detailed information about Electronic Health Records (EHR) and clinical decision-making systems, including capabilities such as acute and sub-acute care, allied health services, patient accounting and management, ambulatory care, dental care, pharmaceutical care including medication assisted treatment, patient portal and a health information exchange platform. Information provided by the vendors will be used to further refine the BOP’s specifications for the potential solicitation/acquisition for such a system. The specific questions outlined in this Request for Information should be answered by vendors in as much detail as possible, including describing actual hardware, any necessary software, any peripherals required, and any configuration required to support the solution.
