The Federal Bureau of Prisons (Bureau) hereby submits a notice of a sole source, fixed-price, commercial delivery/task order using FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(C), In the interest of economy and efficiency, the new work is a logical follow-on to an original Federal Supply Schedule order provided that the original order was placed in accordance with the applicable Federal Supply Schedule ordering procedures. The original order or BPA must not have been previously issued under sole-source or limited-sources procedures. The task/delivery order awardee is Xerox Corporation, 820 W Sandy Lake RD Suite 100, Coppell, Texas 75019-4108 and the GSA FSS/MAS contract number is GS-03-137DA. The contract action is to provide continued rental and service on 58 Xerox copiers in BOP Field Offices. Other than full and open competition is being conducted in accordance with FAR 8.405. This announcement constitutes the only announcement for this requirement. Quotations are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
