The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) anticipates the issuance of solicitation 15BH0N20B00000001 for the award of a firm-fixed-price construction contract for a project entitled Install New Gun Locker for the Federal Detention Center – Honolulu located at 351 Elliott Street, Honolulu, HI 96819. The following brief synopsis should not be considered inclusive of work required to complete the project. The project consists of furnishing all necessary equipment, labor, materials, and incidentals to construct a new institution exterior gun locker. The Statement of Work/Specification attachment will be included with the solicitation that will be issued at a later date. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project lies between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. (NOTE: This range is one of 8 available ranges from FAR 36.204 and is not meant to imply that the project has necessarily been estimated/budgeted to the maximum of the selected range. It merely conveys that the estimate/budget lies somewhere within that range). The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 236220 with a corresponding small business size standard of $15 million. To be considered an interested vendor, you must possess this NAICS code in your System for Award Management (SAM) registration. Interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. The FBOP is seeking small business contractors for this project. Your business size metrics information entered in your SAM registration must be less than or equal to the small business size standard specified above.
