The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix, intends to issue solicitation for the acquisition of food products. This shall be a requirements type contract with firm fixed pricing, FOB Destination with full delivery by April 15, 2021. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix, Food Service Warehouse, 5754 Hartford Street, Joint Base MDL, NJ 08640. The Government reserves the right to award to responsible vendor(s) whose offer, conforms to the solicitation, and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. Past performance will be considered approximately equal in value to price. Past Performance (poor past performance, failure to deliver awarded items in the past, not meeting required specifications, etc.), may result with the vendors quotes being considered as a non-responsible vendor. The solicitation will be made available on or about March 1, 2021 and will be posted to the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website transitioned to www.beta.SAM.gov. Faith based and community based organizations can submit offers/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticapated date of offers due is March 8, 2021, 4:00 pm EST. Payment will be made using the Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) or purchase card. Each vendor is required to be registered in www.SAM.gov complete with representations and certifications.
