FCI FORT DIX FY20 3RD QTR EGGS SYNOPSIS: The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix, intends to issue solicitation 15BFTD20Q00000015 for the acquisition of fresh Eggs. The estimated quarterly quantities are: 250 Cases, Fresh Eggs. This shall be a requirements type contract with firm fixed pricing for the period of April 1, 2020 through June 30, 2020. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix, Food Service Warehouse, 5754 Hartford Street, Joint Base MDL, NJ, 08640 once a week. The Government intends to make a single award to the responsible vendor whose offer conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be the most advantageous to the Government, and with past performance and price considered equivalent (poor past performance, failure to deliver awarded items in the past, not meeting required specifications, etc.), may result with the vendors quotes being considered as a non-responsible vendor. The solicitation will be made available on or about February 18, 2020 and will be posted to the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website transitioned to www.beta.SAM.gov. Faith based and community based organizations can submit offers/ quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated date of receipt of quotes is February 24, 2020 6:00am EST. Payment will be made using the Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) or purchase card. Each vendor is required to be registered in www.SAM.gov complete with representations and certifications.
