FCI Fort Dix FY20 Eggs Synopsis: The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix, intends to issue solicitation RFQ15BFTD20Q00000003 for the acquisition of fresh Eggs. The estimated quarterly quantities are: 260 Cases, Fresh Eggs. This shall be a requirements type contract with firm fixed pricing for the period of October 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix, Food Service Warehouse, 5754 Hartford Street, Joint Base MDL, NJ 08640 once a week. The Government intends to make a single award to the responsible vendor whose offer conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be the most advantageous to the Government, and with past performance and price considered equivalent (poor past performance, failure to deliver awarded items in the past, not meeting required specifications, etc.), may result with the vendors quotes being considered as a non-responsible vendor. The solicitation will be made available on or about August 6, 2019 and will be posted to the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website: www.fbo.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up to date information about this solicitation. Faith based and community based organizations can submit offers/ quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated date of receipt of quotes is August 16, 2019 6:00am EST. Payment will be made using the Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) or purchase card.
