The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix NJ, intends to issue solicitation15BFTD194THQTREGGS for the acquisition of Eggs. The estimated quarterly quantities are: 7800 Dozen, Fresh Eggs. This shall be a requirements type contract with firm fixed pricing for the period of July 1, 2019 to September 30, 2019. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix, Central Warehouse 5755 Hartford Street Joint Base MDL, NJ 08640 once a week on Mondays no later than 12:00pm but not before 8:00am.The Government intends to make a single award to the responsible Vendor whose offer conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be the most advantageous to the Government, and with past performance and price considered equivalent (poor past performance, failure to deliver awarded items in the past, not meeting required specifications, etc.), may result with the vendors quotes being considered as a non-responsible vendor. The solicitation will be made available on or about May 6th, 2019 and will be posted to the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website: http:/www.fbo.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site.
