The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), Field Acquisition Office (FAO) is conducting market research for the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Milan located in Milan, Michigan. in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, part 10. The FAO intends to make an award for the supply of Steam Heated Dryers. The contractor will be responsible for providing four (4) 200 lb steam heated dryers, cylinder diameter 50.8", cylinder depth 50", cylinder volume 58.6 cu/ft, door opening size 27, water inlet size (1) 3/4" • 11-1/2" NH hose connection, energy data steam 502, 125 Btu/hr, utility connection .75" NPT (inlet) 1" NPT (outlet), air outlet 12", Motor (fan) 1.5hp (cylinder) 1.5hp, airflow 2150 cfm, electrical 200-240V/50-60/3. A Government solicitation document to provide these products is being developed and an order may or may not result. The Government contemplates awarding a firm-fixed price award resulting from the future solicitation. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
