This solicitation has been amended to correct Medicare Part A information regarding Inpatient Psych Services. The below verbiage was added to Attachments 1, Contract Pricing and Subcontract Certification. Please make a note of the correction. No extension will be given. Medicare Part A. The Medicare benchmark to be utilized for all services, excluding Inpatient Psychiatric Services (IPF), covered by Medicare Part A shall be the most current Basic MS-DRG payment (i.e., Operating Federal Rate) established for Core Based Statistical Area (CBSA) 31084, Los Angeles - Long Beach - Glendale, California. The Basic MS-DRG calculation shall not include any provider-specific adjustments allowed under actual Medicare participation. Offerors may propose a discount from or a premium to Basic MS-DRG rates. (Refer to Attachment 1 of this solicitation) Medicare Part A IPF Services. The Medicare benchmark to be utilized for IPF services covered by Medicare Part A shall be the most current federal per diem payment rate established for CBSA 31084, Los Angeles - Long Beach - Glendale, California. The Federal per diem payment rate calculation shall not include any provider-specific adjustments allowed under actual Medicare participation. Offerors may propose a discount from or a premium to Federal per diem payment rate. Although, no changes were made to the solicitation, due to unforeseen circumstances, it has been extended. The new deadline is Jan 3, 2025 to account for the holidays. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office located in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) located in Los Angeles, California. Offerors are encouraged to submit comprehensive proposals providing all listed outputs. Offerors who propose less will be evaluated accordingly. Services to be provided include inpatient/outpatient facility and physician services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/ requirements type contract with firm-fixed unit pricing. The contract shall consist of a Base Year and four 12 month option years for renewal. The estimated quantities for the Base Year and all Option Years are as follows: Inpatient Days: 997 estimated days Inpatient Psychiatric Days: 385 estimated days Outpatient Visits: 518 estimated visits Due to the volume of information, quantities of outpatient institution services will be provided in the solicitation document. The solicitation be made available on/or about November 13, 2024 and will be distributed solely through the official U.S. Government system for contract opportunities website at https://sam.gov/content/home. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions.
