The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office located in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the Federal Correctional Institution located in Terminal Island, CA. Offerors are encouraged to submit comprehensive proposals providing all listed outputs. Offerors who propose less will be evaluated accordingly. Services to be provided include inpatient/outpatient facility and physician services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/ requirements type contract with firm-fixed unit pricing. The contract shall consist of a Base Year and four 12 month option years for renewal. The estimated quantities for the Base Year and all Option Years are as follows: Inpatient Days: 705 estimated days Outpatient Visits: 548 estimated visits Due to the volume of information, quantities of outpatient institution services will be provided in the solicitation document. The solicitation be made available on/or about December 13, 2024 and will be distributed solely through the official U.S. Government system for contract opportunities website at https://sam.gov/content/home. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. The Federal Bureau of Prisons has future requirements for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for Federal inmates at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) located in Terminal Island, CA. Services provided are expected to fall into general categories of Inpatient Facility Services, Outpatient Facility Services, Inpatient Physician Services, Outpatient Physician Services, and Outpatient Institution (On-Site Physician) Services. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 622110, General Medical and Surgical Hospitals, with a Size Standard of $47 million. It is anticipated that the contract period will consist of a base year from the effective date of award (EDOA) through 12 months with four 12-month option periods for renewal. A Request for Proposal to provide these services may be developed, and a contract may or may not result. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not reimburse or pay a respondent for information requests, nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. A Sources Sought Questionnaire is included, and responses are due on or before December 29, 2023.
