The Federal Bureau of Prison, Field Acquisition Office located in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) located in Lompoc, California. Offerors are encouraged to submit comprehensive proposals providing all listed output. Offerors who propose less will be evaluated accordingly. Services to be provided include Inpatient/Outpatient physician and facility services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type is a requirement type contract with firm fixed unit pricing. The contract shall consist of a Base Year and four 12 month option years for renewal. The estimated quantities for the Base Year and all Option Years are as follows: Inpatient Days: 850 estimated days, Outpatient Visits: 1450 estimated visits Extended Stay Days: 202 estimated days Due to the volume of Information, quantities of outpatient institution services will be provided in the solicitation document. The solicitation will be made available on/or about July 3, 2024 and will be distributed solely through the System for Award Management website at http://www.sam.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Federal Bureau of Prisons has future requirements for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for Federal inmates at the Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) located in Lompoc, CA. Services provided are expected to fall into general categories of Inpatient Facility Services, Outpatient Facility Services, Inpatient Physician Services, Outpatient Physician Services, Extended Stay Days and Outpatient Institution (On-Site Physician) Services. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 622110, General Medical and Surgical Hospitals, with a Size Standard of $47 million. It is anticipated that the contract period will consist of a base year from the effective date of award (EDOA) through 12 months with four 12-month option periods for renewal. A Request for Proposal to provide these services may be developed, and a contract may or may not result. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not reimburse or pay a respondent for information requests, nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. A Sources Sought Questionnaire is included, and responses are due on or before December 29, 2023.
