The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, located in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to solicit for the provision of Solid Waste Removal Services for the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) Brooklyn, Dayton Manor, and Building 4 located at: MDC Brooklyn Dayton Manor Building 4 80 29th Street 9325 Ft. Hamilton Parkway 199 Flushing Avenue Brooklyn, NY 11232 Brooklyn, NY 11209 Brooklyn, NY 11205 The estimated number of pulls required annually for each location is as detailed below: 30 CY Open Top, MDC Outside Storage (2 each for 52 weeks); estimated number of pulls annually - 104 30 CY Open Top, Dayton Manor (2 each for 52 weeks); estimated number of pulls annually - 104 35 CY Compactor, MDC East & West Buildings (2 each, 2 times per week for 52 weeks); estimated number of pulls annually - 208 30 CY Open Top, Building 4 Outside Storage (1 each for 52 weeks); estimated number of pulls annually - 52 The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period will consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, and 4 one-year option periods for renewal at the discretion of the government. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) Code is 562111 – Solid Waste Collection, (Size Standard of $47 million). This solicitation is a small business set aside. Required services must be provided by the Contractor in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW), which will be available at the time of solicitation. The solicitation will be made available on or about March 4, 2024, and will be distributed solely through the website at www.sam.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available.
