The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, located in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to solicit for the provision of propane for the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI), located at US Highway 72 West, Three Rivers, Texas 78071. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirement contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period will consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, with (4) one-year option periods. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 324110 – Petroleum Refineries, (Size Standard of 1,500 employees). This solicitation is a small business set aside. The contractor shall furnish a continuous supply of L.P. Propane Gas to the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) located in Three Rivers, Texas. The Propane Gas supplied by the contractor shall meet the everyday needs of the FCI, Satellite Prison Camp (SPC), and all other buildings located at the institution. The contractor shall own, operate, and maintain facilities necessary to provide the FCI Three Rivers with L.P. Propane Gas at an estimated monthly average of 12,000 gallons. The contractor shall provide all tanks/equipment and all accessories at the storage tank site. The contractor shall maintain all equipment, component, and all accessories at the storage tank site. The contractor shall maintain all equipment, component, and all accessories needed for a dependable L.P. Propane Gas supply to the institution. Annual and monthly usages are estimates only. All deliveries will be scheduled between the hours of 7:30am and 2:00pm, Monday through Friday as mutually agreed upon between the Facilities Manager/Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and the contractor. The contractor will not be expected to make deliveries on Federal Holidays; however, they are expected to make deliveries before a Federal Holiday or the day after a Federal Holiday. Services are required to be provided by the contractor in accordance with the specifications. The solicitation will be made available on or about November 17, 2023, and will be distributed solely through the website at www.sam.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available.
