The Bureau of Prisons has a requirement for the supplies and equipment required to replace/upgrade the feed water, steam, exhaust and burner controls on four (4) Hurst 1000Hp 4- pass Scotch Marine-pack, natural gas/fuel oil fired steam boilers operating at approximately 120psi, associated data transfer systems and interfaces and ancillary equipment. All equipment shall be installed by BOP personnel. The supplies and equipment will be delivered to the United States Penitentiary (USP) located in Terre Haute, Indiana. The Government contemplates awarding of firm fixed priced purchase order resulting from the future solicitation. The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: - Provide four (4) exhaust gas sensor sets or combustion analysis in the exhaust for the boilers - Provide replacement / upgrade for the existing four (4) Boiler Combustion Controls / Burner Management System (BMS) / Boiler Operational Controls and all associated linkages and actuators on the CUP boilers with Cleaver Brooks Hawk 4000 or SCC Inc. LMV5 series Controls (or equivalent). - Provide Capacitive boiler level sensors (Spirax Sarco LP20 or equivalent) with 3 element feed water control shall be provided for each boiler vessel that are compatible with burner management and plant master and feed valve actuation. - Provide Plant Master Remote Monitoring / Control system which will integrate and interface with all individual boiler controls and pertinent steam plant information and controls with a Plant Master to be located in the CUP Operator’s office.
