The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, located in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award to a small business for the provision of providing Biomedical Equipment Technician as set forth in this solicitation. Services will be performed on-site at the Federal Medical Center, located in Fort Worth, Texas. The services will encompass the provision of 1 (one) Biomedical Equipment Technician for the Federal Medical Center (FMC) Fort Worth, Texas in accordance to the Statement of Work (SOW). The Government reserves the right to award without discussion. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 541990. The size standard is $16.5 million. The solicitation is 100% set-aside for women owned small business. The requirement is for 1880 sessions per each performance period, except for the base year of 1328 sessions. These services will normally consist of eight (8), one (1) hours sessions per day, Monday through Friday (except Federal holidays), normally between the 5:30 am and 10:00 pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch period. The contractor shall not exceed 40 hours per week. The performance period will be for a base year, period from the Effective Date of Award (EDOA) through 12 months from the EDOA, four (4) possible 12-month option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the Government. All duties shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the industry and in compliance with all Federal and State policy and regulations. The contractor will provide services in accordance to the Statement of Work. The solicitation will be made available on or about Thursday, January 6, 2022, 12:00 pm CST and will be distributed solely through the General Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.Beta.Sam@gov.
