This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for Removing and Replacing Makeup Air Unit (MAU) at the Federal Correctional Institution located in Herlong, California. The North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238220 (Size Standard: $16.5 mil). The Government is contemplating awarding of a firm fixed price contract resulting from the future solicitation. A Government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. All other qualifications and requirements will be detailed in the solicitation. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for information requested, nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The Market Research Questionnaire will be available on or about January 19, 2022. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and/or amendments, may be distributed through this site.
