The purpose of this contract is to provide religious instruction and pastoral leadership of the Islamic faith at the Federal Correctional Complex, Tucson. The Government reserves the right to award without discussion and to award as a single award. Therefore, each initial quote should contain the quoter’s best terms from a cost or price standpoint. The contract period will be in effect from date of award (on or around September 4, 2020) through September 30, 2025, in the format of a base year plus 4 additional option periods. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex in Tucson, Arizona, intends to issue a solicitation for the provision of Muslim Imam Services for the Federal Correctional Complex, located in Tucson, Arizona. A firm-fixed price indefinite delivery/requirements type contract will result from this solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 813110. Estimated number of sessions will be 24 sessions per year. A session will equal two (2) hours. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period and four 12 month option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the Government. Solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be available. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must register at www.sam.gov under the NAICS code for this solicitation. FCC Tucson is also taking precautions to reduce the risk of COVID 19 by prescreening all contractors entering the facility daily by taking his or her temperature. Also, all staff and contractors entering the facility will have to be wearing a mask at all times.
