All QUALIFYING candidates will be provided the opportunity to have an on-site tour of the Emergency Diesel Generator on August 1 (Tuesday), August 2 (Wednesday), or August 3 (Thursday) to have a better vision of the area/part/machinery that requires repair. Please send request to kmuma@bop.gov and your request for an on-site tour will be scheduled. You will receive an email with your scheduled tour date and time. All interested parties will need to complete a NCIC Background check- this is required to enter the facility (a form will be emailed to you upon request to visit.) The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Detention Center (FDC) SeaTac, intends to award to a qualifying Diesel Engine Repair contractor for the provision of making coolant system repairs to an Emergency Diesel Generator located at the Federal Detention Center, 2425 So. 200th St., SeaTac, WA. 98198. Awarded primary contractor shall: Acquire all parts, materials, and skilled labor to complete an engine coolant system overhaul per manufacturer specifications and guidelines. All replacement parts and materials shall be CAT OEM certified, or be at minimum, CAT accepted product alternatives.
