The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, MDC Los Angeles, intends to issue solicitation 15B60624Q00000003 for the requirements of QUARTERLY MILK PRODUCTS for 3rd QTR FY24 MDC LA requires the following items: Skim Milk, 1/2 Pints, Each. QTY needed - 107,868. Description: Kosher Milk, Fresh, Nonfat, Skim, or Fat Free, Individual 8 Ounce Serving. 1/2 pint, Bladder bag, etc. CID A A20338, Group III, Type D. Must be process under Ultra High Temperatures (UHT). Product can be a plant based dairy substitute. Certified Kosher. *Each individual package must be marked with the kosher certification hechsher or must have Kosher Certification letter from Dairy. Total amount may be adjusted to the next highest case count. This solicitation is Small Businesses Set-Aside and only qualified Sellers can bid, FOB Destination, and the delivery date will be between April - June, 2024, unless another delivery schedule noted. FOR SPECIFIC DELIVERY DATES AND SCHEDULE, (WEEKLY DELIVERY), PLEASE CONTACT FOOD SERVICE DEPARTMENT, MR. NATHANIEL FOMBY, AT 213-485-0439 EXT, # 5118. Deliveries will be made to the Metropolitan Detention Center Los Angeles (MDC LA), 535 N. Alameda Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012. Unless otherwise indicated, Bid/Offer must be good for 60 calendar days after close of Buy and shipping must be free on board (FOB) destination CONUS (Continental U.S.) The delivered item(s) must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local mandatory requirements and regulations relating to the preparation, packaging, labeling, storage, distribution, and sale of the supplies in the commercial marketplace. Failure to comply with the National Menu Specifications will result in your quoted item not being considered for award. No specification substitutions will be accepted. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards and will award to the responsible vendor(s) who's offer conforming to the solicitation is considered the most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, in accordance with FAR 13.106-2(b). The solicitation will be made available on or around Feb 15th 2024 and will be posted to sam.gov website. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. This site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this solicitation, including amendments and award information will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. Quotes will be due on March 4th., 2024, GMT, at 8:00 US/Pacific Time Zone. The Government reserves the right to make payment using either Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or the Government Purchase Card. Each vendor is required to be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM); information can be obtained at www.sam.gov. Each offeror is required per FAR 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the on-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations can submit quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. An additional information: Quoters must bid on the exact items listed in the solicitation. All quantities and packaging types of items up for bid MUST BE EXACTLY AS ANOTATED ON THE SOLICITATION. FAR 13.106-2, Evaluation of quotations or offers. Unless all offers are rejected, award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is determined to be the best overall value, price and other factors considered. In accordance with FAR 13.106-2(b)(1), The contracting officer has broad discretion in fashioning suitable evaluation procedures. Items must meet specifications as indicated. All items will be closely inspected. All contractors are advised this solicitation includes FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items. This clause requires contractors doing business with the Federal Government to be registered in the System for Award Management registry as www.sam.gov. Contractors must complete their representations and certifications. Make sure your UEI is included with your quotation. Only quote items you can deliver and that meet required specifications as provided. Quotations must be received no later than the posted date on the solicitation.
