This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex, located in Pollock, Louisiana intends to make a single award of firm-fixed price type contract to a responsible entity for the provision under this request for quote (RFQ) 15B51924Q00000013 for Education/School Greenhouse Kit. This solicitation is set-aside exclusively for total small business entities under the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS), 332311, with a size standard of Total Small Business Set-Aside, the size standard is 750 employees. Quotes will be considered from only those meeting these standards and shall contain all cost associated with product and delivery. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-07(c). DESCRIPTION / SCHEDULE: Education/School Greenhouse Kit: Size range: 40'-45'W x 70'-75'L; A Frame Shape; Galvanized Steel Frame; 8mm Thinwall Polycarbonate Wall size: 8ft. or 10ft. only Greenhouse kit should include, at the minimum, the following: Commercial exhaust fan(s), commercial inlet shutters, stainless steel evap. system, evaporative cooling pads, horizontal airflow fan(s), insulated door (3’W x 6’8”H) with locking mechanism, insulated door (double door, each door 3’w x 6’8”h, with locking mechanism), pvc cool cell, full-size fire-retardant shade cloth that is manually controlled, automated environmental controller for humidity and temperature. No heater is required. Kit items shall meet or exceed the need for the greenhouse to function properly. If your kit includes alternative items for a proper functioning greenhouse, that will be acceptable. Request is for Kit only. The Government will complete all site prep and installation. Greenhouse will not have a slab but will be constructed with in-ground post on pier footings. Kit shall include schematic/engineered drawings of layout for installation/construction, all electrical and plumbing of greenhouse. Drawings are not required to be State of LA approved. CONTRACT PRICING: Contract pricing must include all cost associated with product and delivery. Award will be made based on “price” for a kit that meets the minimum requirements given. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Delivery to FCC Pollock, FOB, no later than January 31, 2025.
