This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The information gathered from market research questionnaire will be vital in the formation and set aside status of the solicitation. The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for Commercial Driver License Instructor Services for the Federal Correctional Complex (hereinafter referred to as FCC) located in Pollock, Louisiana. The contractor shall offer a program in Commercial Driving that shall, after successful completion of the training program, qualify offenders for at least entry-level employment in the field of Commercial Driving upon release and provide a Certified Driver License issued from the State of Louisiana in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. The program shall certify five (5) offenders per session. A session shall be a completed training program lasting no longer than eight (8) weeks in length, offered four (4) times per fiscal year. The contract year shall consist of a 12 month base year with four 12 month option years for renewal. The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the future solicitation. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for information requested, nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The Market Research Questionnaire will be available on or about April 27, 2021, and will be distributed solely through General Services Administration's Beta.Sam website. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and/or amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The response date for the market research questionnaire survey is Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. Central Time (CT). All responses to the Market Research Questionnaire may be submitted via email to llwheeler@bop.gov. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone requests or written requests for the market research questionnaire will be accepted.
