This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) / Federal Correctional Complex in Oakdale Louisiana intends to make a single award to a responsible entity that will provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, and incidentals to install an electronically controlled drive gate and execute the replacement of one sliding bus sally port gate located at the entrance building of the FCI 1 institution. The sally port gate was originally installed in 1987. This gate provides the controlled access to the FCI 1. The sallyport gate will be controlled from the control center. FCC Oakdale is a federal correctional facility located at 1507 East Whatley Road, Oakdale, Louisiana 71463. The project consists of furnishing all equipment, materials, and labor for the complete construction of the work. The performance period for the project will be 180 calendar days from issuance of the notice to proceed. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project lies between $100,000 and $250,000. (NOTE: This range is one of 8 available ranges from FAR 36.204 and is not meant to imply that the project has necessarily been estimated/budgeted to the maximum of the selected range. It merely conveys that the estimate/budget lies somewhere within that range.) The solicitation will be available on May 20, 2024. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the SAM.GOV website. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available. The website provides download instructions.
