This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for Solid Waste Removal services at the Federal Detention Center located in Houston, Texas. The requirement for these services will consist of solid waste pick up, haul, dump, and monthly rental of two roll off trash compactors at the Federal Detention Center: dump twice weekly. There is also a second location near the institution for one pick up, haul, dump, and monthly rental of an open top roll off dumpster: dump once weekly. Services are required between the hours of 3:30 a.m. to 4:45 a.m. The North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 562111 (Size Standard: $41.5 million). The Government is contemplating awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the future solicitation. The contract base period shall be from the Effective Date of Award (EDOA) through September 30, 2021 with four 12 month option periods for renewal. A Government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. The Government will not pay for information requested, nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
