Please see attached solicitation document for further item descriptions.A single purchase order will be awarded for brand-name supplies that are peculiar to one manufacturer. This particular brand name, product, or feature is essential to the Government’s requirements. The Federal Bureau of Prisons Special Operations Response Team Marksman (SORT)/Observer Program is implementing a standardized equipment requirement for SORT Sniper teams. SORT has the mission to preserve the training and protection readiness integrity of the BOP. Therefore, this type of weapon requested supports the security mission operations at FCI Three Rivers. At this time only one manufacturer will meet the requirement.
