This combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services is being prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and in conjunction with Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) under solicitation number 15B50922Q00000001. The Bureau of Prisons is seeking to purchase the fabrication and installation of a chair lift at the Federal Medical Center Fort Worth, located at 3150 Horton Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76119. Technical drawings, chair lift requirements, and the Statement of Work are attached to this solicitaion. Quotes must meet or exceed all specifications. Contractor must provide a technician with Certified Accessibility and Private Residence Lift Technician licensing through NAEC National Association of Elevator Contractors. Contractor must provide documentation of experience with installation on similar projects, submittal of sub-contractors with experience alone will not be accepted. This is a new procurement and does not replace an existing contract. No prior contract information exisits. Complete instructions for submitting a response to this solicitation and applicable provisions and clauses are enclosed. Offerers are advised to pay close attention to the quote submission instructions as they are specific as to what is required to be provided. The applicable line item is enclosed. The contract period of perfomance is described in the Statement of Work. All work shall be completed within 120 days of date of award. Any awards resulting in this solicitatoin will be issued on a Standard Form 1449. Note: in order to receive an award, offeres must be registered in the System for Award Managment (SAM) database in accordance with FAR 52.204-13. Registration for SAM may be done online at www.acquisition.gov or www.sam.gov. An on site meeting will be held on February 16, 2022 at 10:00 am. NCIC forms shall be filled out comletely and emailed to Jdolloff@bop.gov by close of business February 14, 2022. The solicitation closes and quotes should be emaild to jdolloff@bop.gov by February 18, 2022 at 12:00pm CST. Offers submitted after this time will be considere late and handled in accordance to FAR 52.212-1(f). Award determination will be based on price, prior performance, and best over all value to the Federal Government.
