The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, TX, intends to issue solicitation 15B50919Q00000007 for the provision of Mortuary/Burial Services. The services will be provided to individuals who are under the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment, located at the Federal Medical Center, Fort Worth, TX. The physical address is Federal Medical Center (FMC), 3150 Horton Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76119. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit price. The award will be made to the responsible vendor or individual who submits the lowest quote to the Government based on price related factors only. The contract periods for the service will consist of a base year with an effective date on October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020 with four 12-month option years for renewal along with the 6 month optional period. The forthcoming solicitation will provide all the details regarding the required services for the estimated nine (9) Basic #1 services, two (2) Basic #2 services, four (4) Cremation services, one (1) Special Sealed Casket, a maximum of the initial four (4) days for Refrigeration Fees, a maximum of an Additional three (3) days for Refrigeration fees, and a maximum of 150 miles for Transportation fees. The solicitation will be available on or about July 5, 2019 and will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov.
