The Federal Bureau of Prison, FMC Carswell, Fort Worth, Texas, intends to award a sole source procurement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Med Star Area Metropolitan, 2900 Alta Mere Drive, Fort Worth, Texas 76116, for the provision of emergency ambulance ground transportation for the inmate population at FMC Carswell. The period of performance for this procurement will be October 2020 through September 2021. The NAICS Code is 485991. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. Other vendors who believe they can meet the requirement may provide written notification to the contracting officer by 12:00 PM CST, November 3, 2020. Supporting evidence must be furnished in detail to demonstrate the ability of the vendor to supply services that will meet requirement in a satisfactory manner. Vendor must also provide references and show competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Interested firms must provide a Capability Statement with the following information: company name, address, point of contact, telephone and fax number, email address, business size, and DUNS number. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement to Med Star Area Metropolitan. Responses may be emailed by the deadline stated above. Faith- based and Community Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which that are eligible.
