The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Big Spring, Texas, intends to issue solicitation 15B50321Q00001, for the requirements of: 1st QUARTER MEAT FY21. This solicitation is unrestricted, FOB Destination, the NAICS code for this requirement is 311991; the acquisition standard for Government procurement is restricted to Small Business set-aside. Weekly delivery dates will begin October 01, 2020 through December 31, 2020. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution, Big Spring, 1900 Simler Avenue, Big Spring, Texas, 79720. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make formal single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible quoter(s) whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, that are considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, prices being rated higher than past performance. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a written quote which will be considered for award. The solicitation will be made available on or about August 24, 2020. The anticipated date for receipts of quotes is September 8, 2020. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration’s Federal Business Opportunities web site https://www.fbo.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions.
