The contractor will provide the Mobile Radiology services in the Health Services Department at FCI Bastrop, located at 1341 Highway 95 North, Bastrop, TX 78602. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit price. The award will be made to the responsible vendor or individual who submits the lowest quote to the Government. More details are within the solicitation. The Contractor shall provide the various mobile imaging services (6 MRI clinics, 3 CT clinics, and 12 Ultrasound clinics per month, which totals to approximately 72 MRI clinics, 36 CT clinics and 144 Ultrasound clinics annually) to FCI Bastrop. Required credentials and such are listed in the solicitation. The Government intends to award a requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from this solicitation. The contract period shall consist of a base year and four option years. The solicitation will be available on or about June 17, 2020 and will be distributed solely through the SAMs website (www.beta.SAM.gov). The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for Mobile Radiology Services for inmates at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Bastrop, TX located at 1341 Highway 95 North, Bastrop, TX 78602. The NAICS Code is 621512. The contractor shall provide Mobile Radiology services to the Health Services Department. The Contractor shall provide the various mobile imaging services (6 MRI clinics, 3 CT clinics, and 12 Ultrasound clinics) to FCI Bastrop. The schedule will be determined by FCI Bastrop. The number of inmates examined per session is subject to vary for each visit depending upon the need of FCI Bastrop. The session(s) will be scheduled between the hours of 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday excluding federal holidays. Specific days/hours will be subject to mutual agreement between the Health Services Administrator (HSA) and the contractor. The contractor will be notified in advance of the requested date of service and the number of inmates to be examined. The number of inmates will be determined by the HSA and will vary. These sessions may be adjusted to meet the needs of the Health Services Department as determined by the HSA. Please see the Statement of Work for credential requirements and other details. The Government contemplates awarding a requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the forthcoming solicitation. The contract period shall consist of a base year and four option years. A Government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement.
