This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The information gathered from market research will be vital in the formation and set aside status of the solicitation. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, has a future requirement for the supply of Bread Products at the FCC Terre Haute located in Terra Haute, Indiana. The Government contemplates awarding an indefinite-delivery, requirements type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from this solicitation. The contract period shall consist of a 12-month base with one 12-month option year for renewal. The Government anticipates requiring the following listed below: Hot Dog Buns (Whole Wheat) 12 count packs, Base Year and Option Year – 10,000 pks Hamburger Buns, (Whole Wheat) 12 count packs, Base Year and Option Year – 50,000 pks Bread, (Whole Wheat) Loaf, Base Year and Option Year – 100,000 loaves Bread, Dinner Rolls, (Whole Wheat), Base Year and Option Year – 18,000 ea Rolls Hoagie, (Whole Wheat) 8 count packs, Base Year and Option Year – 30,000 pks A Government solicitation document to provide the above mentioned requirement and quantities is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement.
