The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to make a single award for medical waste disposal services at USMCFP Springfield, located at 1900 W Sunshine St., Springfield, Missouri 65807, with services performed outside the secured confines of the institution. The contract covers a 12-month period beginning at award, plus a 6-month option to extend performance to 18 months after the original award. The contractor must collect, remove, and dispose of infectious medical waste three times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with pickup windows of 7:30–10:30 a.m. or 11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m., no federal holiday pickups, and holiday pickups rescheduled to the next business day.
