Amendment 00001 is issued to alter the physical dimension limitations for the Food Servive AHU. No questions were received by the due date for questions which was Friday November 27, 2020. Acknowledgement of Amendment 00001 is required as indicated in block 11 of the amendment. The amendment will include responses to any questions received by the due date for questions ( Friday November 27, 2020). Reminder, questions are to be submitted in writing to the listed POC's Ross Hanners rhanners@bop.gov and Hannah Henry hxhenry@bop.gov. Also the amendment will alter the Physical Dimension Limitations outlined in the SOW on page 3 for the Food Service AHU Requirement to read “Due to space restrictions of the location of this particular equipment, the maximum allowable tolerances for a replacement unit are 84”W x 180”L x 82”T” [end of edit November 23, 2020] The Federal Bureau of Prisons, U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, Springfield, Missouri, intends to issue a solicitation 15B41421Q00000002 for the provision of 2 Air Handler Units with startup that meets the minimum specifications outlined in the SOW. The contractor shall deliver the units within 90 days ARO with startup to be completed after install and schedule coordinated mutually between contractor and government. Contractor will deliver and perform startup at the U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, 1900 West Sunshine Street, Springfield, Missouri, 65807. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 238220. The solicitation is restricted to 100% small business, FOB Destination, and is a firm-fixed price contract. The Government will award to the responsible contractor whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be most advantageous to the Government based on price related factors and past performance per FAR 13.106-2(b)(3). The solicitation will be available on or after November 13, 2020 and will be distributed solely through the General Service Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at https://beta.sam.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirements that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management, (SAM), database prior to award. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Tentatively a site visit is planned for November 23, 2020. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is on or about December 4, 2020. Payments will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).
