The Federal Bureau fo Prisons (FBOP) is currently accepting Firm Fixed Price quotations to remove approximately 6,100 square fee to floor tile and mastic containing asbestos material from one second floor inmate housing unit. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business under NAICS 562910. The Government will award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, is considered the most advantageous to the Government based on best value. Details and scope of work can be found in the attached solicitation packet. A pre-quotation site visit has been scheduled for December 18th, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. at FCI Sandstone 2300 Co. Rd 29, Sandstone, MN 55072. Work on this project will be in and around a correctional environment. All interested parties will need to complete the appropriate background checks before admission to the institute. Contact information to facilitate the required background checks can be found in the Instruction protion of the solicitation packet. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. The Government may make awards without discussions; therefore, offerors are instructed to submit their best offer initially.
