The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) anticipates the need for a firm fixed-price Psychiatrist Services contract for the inmate population at Federal Correctional Institute Sandstone, and intends to issue solicitation 15B41320Q00000006. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business under NAICS 621112. The Government will award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, is considered the most advantageous to the Government based on best value. The solicitation will be available on or about January, 22, 2020 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration beta SAM.Gov website at https://beta.sam.gov. FCI Sandstone is a Federal Correctional facility (FCI) located at 2300 Co. Rd 29, Sandstone, MN 55072. The Statement of Work for this contract will be uploaded with the solicitation. The awarded contract holder will be responsible for conducting psychiatric evaluations, and making referral and treatment recommendations for the inmates at the FCI. The contractor will provide Psychiatric services which conform to all Local, State, and Federal laws and regulations applicable to the delivery of psychiatric care to the general public. The Contractor will also conform to all BOP policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines as applicable to Psychiatric services. Work during the duration of this contract will be in and around a correctional environment. Specifics on the work schedule will be found in the Statement of Work. Hard copies of the solicitation will be distributed solely through the beta SAM.Gov website. All future information regarding this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. The Government may make awards without discussions; therefore, offerors are instructed to submit their best offer initially. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Payments will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (ETF). Each offeror, in accordance with FAR 52.212-3, is required to complete the annual representations and certification electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) located at https://sam.gov.
