This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Federal Correctional Institution Pekin, IL is issuing a solicitation, 15B41124Q00000013, for 1 x Bramidan X6030 LP Baler brand name or better configured to the specifications contained in this solicitation. New Equipment ONLY; NO remanufactured or "gray market" items will be accepted. If you are submitting for an item that is not the named equipment you must submit technical specifications for evaluation by the Government. The winning bidder will be expected to install the baler and provide instruction to institution safety staff on its operation. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Shipping will be FOB Destination. The contract type is firm-fixed price and will be for a single award. The evaluation factors are price and past performance. Price will be rated higher than past performance. The Government will award to the responsible offer(s) whose offer, conforms to the solicitation, and is most advantageous to the Government. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site www.sam.gov. The deadline for receipt of quotes is on or before July 15, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, Email (Gkurtz@bop.gov). Quotes received after closing date will not be considered. Quoted prices must be good for 60 days after the close of the solicitation. Each offer is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the online Representation and Certification Applications (SAM) at www.sam.gov.
