The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, located in Pekin, Illinois is issuing solicitation 15B41122Q00000011 for the provision Optometry Services to be performed at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Pekin, Illinois. The services will be provided to individuals who are under the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment. The contract will consist of a base year plus four options year periods with 192 sessions per year. The contract type will be an indefinite delivery/requirement type contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 621320 with a small business size standard of $7.5 million. The Government will award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is considered to be the most advantageous to the Government. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the Federal Government's official website at www.beta.sam.gov. Hard copies of this solicitation will not be made available. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The deadline for receipt of quotations is February 4, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. CST. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The website for registration is www.beta.sam.gov. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Quotes shall be submitted on or before the deadline of February 4, 2022 at 1:00 PM CST by e-mail to Gary M. Kurtz, Supervisory Contract Specialist at Gkurtz@bop.gov. Quotes received after the deadline will be handled in accordance with FAR 52.212-1(f). Do not fax, mail, or hand deliver quotes.
