The Federal Bureau of Prisons Federal Correctional Institution Pekin, IL intends to make a single award for the provision of water testing services for the water supply at FCI/FPC Pekin. It is anticipated that this RFQ will result in the award of a single contract. The contract type will be an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm fixed unit prices. Award will be made to the responsible quoter who submits the most advantageous offer to the Government. The estimated number of sessions will be twelve (12) sessions for the base year and each of the option years. A session is defined as one (1) month of testing. The contract period shall consist of one twelve month base year and up to four twelve month option periods. This requirement will be a set aside for small business. All other qualifications and requirements will be detailed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be made on or about January 27, 2020 and will be distributed solely through the General Service Administration’s beta.SAM.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including amendments will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this website to ensure you have the most up to date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of this solicitation will not be made available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a hard copy of the solicitation. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice of formal announcement of Solicitation No. 15B41120Q00000006 - Water Testing Services at the Federal Correctional Insitution FCI Pekin, IL. Accompanying this announcement you will find the solicitation package. When making your submissions please ensure the following information is documented on your SF-1449: 1. Your pricing information in the Schedule of Supplies and Services, 2. The Offeror's Representations and Certifications must be provided or available for review in the SAM database, 3. A copy of your current IL IEPA class "B" water testing license must be submitted, 4. A current copy of liability insurance, 4. Your business's DUNS, TIN, address, and contact information for the Person of Contact making the submission. Quotes will be submitted electronically to Gary M. Kurtz, Supervisory Contract Specialist at Gkurtz@bop.gov by February 12, 2020 at 4:00 PM. Evaluation will be based on price and past performance with price being rated higher. Quoters are advised that the Contracting Officer will verify registration in the System for Award Managment database (www.sam.gov) prior to award of any contract by entering the potential awardee's DUNS number into the database.
