The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, TX, intends to issue a re-solicitation 15B41120Q00000005 for the provision of VT Welding Program. The contractor will provide the VT Welding Program in the Education Department at FCI Pekin, located at 2600 South 2nd Street, Pekin, IL 61554. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit price. The award will be made to the responsible vendor who submits the lowest quote to the Government. A session is defined as one hour. The contractor will normally provide 4 (1) hour sessions per day, 4 days per week, Monday through Thursday, excluding Federal Holidays. To accommodate institutional needs, contractor may be required to add classes on Fridays. Work hours will normally be between 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM. These hours may be adjusted to meet the needs of the institution. The contractor shall not normally exceed 20 hours per week. Classes shall be generally scheduled as follows: Monday through Thursday 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM AND/ OR 12:30 PM TO 3:30 PM. There will be approximately 15 students in the program each year, which is inclusive of a Base year and four (4) 12-month option years. Each year will be an approximated 400 sessions. Total annual approximated sessions are 6000 (15 students multiplied by 400 sessions). Please Note that these services will be provided at the contractor’s facility.
