FCI Oxford proposes to have an outside contractor replace the entire run of approximately 700 feet of existing fiberglass, steam condensate return line from the powerhouse to the UNICOR building. The contractor shall furnish and install approximately 700ft of 3" Carbon Steel sch-80 steamless pipe from a designated tie-in point in the powerhouse, to a designated tie-in point in the UNICOR building. The contractor shall be responsible for insulating the 3" condensate line with 2" thick "Foamglas" insulation with aluminum jacketing. The contractor shall ensure that the installation and insulation of the piping complies with all ASME standards. The contractor shall also ensure that the layout and installation is in conformance with the manufacturer. All excavation and backfilling shall be conducted by FCI Oxford.
