THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The information gathered from market research will be vital in the formation and set aside status of the solicitation. The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for the supply of approximately ten thousand (10,000) tons of hot mix asphalt and approximately three thousand, six hundred and sixty eight (3,668) tons of tack coat. All hot mix asphalt and tack coat will be delivered to the United States Federal Penitentiary (USP) Marion at 4500 Prison Road, Marion, IL 62959. Please refer to the draft Statement of Work for more details. The Government contemplates awarding of firm-fixed-price purchase order from the future solicitation with anticipated delivery to take place June 15, 2021. (Note. The attachment draft of the SOW states April 15, however that has been extended to June 15, 2021). A Government solicitation document to provide these supplies is being developed and a contract may or may not result. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All future information about this acquisition, including the solicitation and/or amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this procurement is 324121 (Size Standard: 500 employees). Do you have any issues/questions/concerns with the draft Statement of Work? Can your company provide all-inclusive firm-fixed unit prices (i.e., per ton pricing for asphalt and per gallon pricing for tack coat) that will include all cost associated with the provision of the supplies (i.e., all labor, equipment, delivery and material costs)?
