This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The information gathered from market research will be vital in the formation and set aside status of the solicitation. The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for Highway Construction Career Certificate Program services for the United States Penitentiary (hereinafter referred to as USP) located in Marion, Illinois. The contractor will provide Highway Construction Career Certificate Program services in accordance with the Statement of Work. The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the future solicitation. The contract year shall consist of a 12 month base year with four 12 month option years for renewal. The estimated maximum quantity for the base year and each option year is 240 sessions per year (6 weeks per year). A session is defined as one hour. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for information requested, nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The Market Survey Questionnaire will be available on or about April 10, 2019, and will be distributed solely through General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site https://www.fbo.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and/or amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The response date for the market research questionnaire is April 24, 2019, at 9:00 a.m. Central Standard Time (CST). All responses to the Market Survey Questionnaire may be submitted via email to llwheeler@bop.gov. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone requests or written requests for the market research questionnaire will be accepted. Please note: All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The website for registration is www.sam.gov.
