The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, TX, intends to issue solicitation 15B40621Q00000007 for the provision of Ambulance services. The contractor will provide the Ambulance services in the Health Services Department at FCC Florence, located at 5880 State Hwy 67 South, Florence Colorado 81226. The contractor should state the specifications of and limitations to their equipment in their offer. The contractor will comply with equipment and supply standards under Colorado laws and Fremont County statues. The contractor shall be Advanced Cardiac Life Support, ACLS, paramedic staffed 24 hours a day. Most services will occur, but are not limited to the following Colorado counties: Fremont, Pueblo, and El Paso counties. The contractor will agree to transport inmates to the destination requested by FCC Florence regardless if another hospital is shorter distance from FCC Florence. The contractor shall provide in their quote an accurate map and a written description of its geographical service area which shall identify with specificity the complete boundary of the area served by the provider. The contractor shall provide in their quote the location of their base station or substation. The contractor must be available for emergency ambulance and routine ambulance transport services 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, including all federal holidays. For emergent transport, the contractor must be on-site at FCC Florence within 15 minutes of request. If the contractor is not available to provide routine/scheduled service or be on-site at FCC Florence within 15-minutes of emergent request, an alternate provider will be scheduled by the contractor to provide immediate service. FCC Florence is estimated to have approximately 7 runs per month multiplied by 12 months totaling 84 runs per month. More details forthcoming within the solicitation. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit price. The award will be made to the responsible vendor or individual who submits the lowest quote to the Government. The contract periods for the service will consist of a base year and four option years with an additional 6 month option period. The solicitation will be available on or about July 9, 2021 and will be distributed solely through the SAMs website (www.SAM.gov). All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about August 6, 2021. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Insert the clause FAR 52.204-13, System for Award Management Maintenance, in solicitations that contain the provision at 52.204-7, and resulting contracts. This clause requires all contractors doing business with the federal government after September 30, 2003, to be registered in the SAM database at (www.SAM.gov). Contractors should include their Data Universal Number System (DUNS) number in their offers. The Contracting Officer will verify registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award by entering the potential awardees DUNS number into the SAM database.
