The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of skim milk for inmates at the Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Florence, Colorado. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 311511 – Fluid Milk Manufacturer (Size Standard: 1000 employees). This solicitation is being issued as unrestricted. The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contracts with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the future solicitation. The anticipated Effective Date of Award (EDOA) is October 1, 2021. The resulting contract will include a base year from the EDOA through 12 months from EDOA. All duties shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the industry and in compliance with all Federal and State policies and regulations. The solicitation will be made available on or about August 30, 2021 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.beta.sam.gov/. The Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) in Florence, Colorado has a future requirement for continuation of Wastewater Utility services located in Fremont County, Florence, Colorado. The FCC has an established connection for wastewater utility services that is operational. The facility houses an inmate population and other generic institutional elements. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 221320 with a Small Business Size Standard for $22.0M. The contractor will provide wastewater utility services to the designated point of service and/or metered connection. Any resultant contract will have a performance period of with a minimum of one year and maximum of ten years in duration. The anticipated contract is a ten-year, requirements type contract with firm-fixed prices. A governmental solicitation to provide these services is being developed and a contract may or may not result.
