The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correction Complex 5880 State HWY 67 South, Florence, CO 81226, intends to issue solicitation 15B40619QUP140324, for the requirements of 4,800 Tons of Class 5(1-1/2") Road Base w/delivery. This solicitation is set aside 100% to Small Business and FOB Destination. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution, 5880 State Highway 67 South, Florence, CO 81226. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government will award on lowest price technically acceptable evaluation criteria. The solicitation will open August, 22, 2019 and will be posted to the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. The solicitation closes on August 29, 2019 4:00 PM Mountain Standard Time. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). A pre-bid conference and site visit is scheduled for Monday August 26, 2019 at 9:00 A.M. Mountain Standard Time at the front gate of Federal Correctional Complex Florence, CO. Located at 5880 State HWY 67 South, Florence, CO 81226. The pre-bid conference and site visit is not mandatory; however, all bidders are urged to attend. NCIC background checks will be required for participants attending this conference. The authorization for release of information (Form BP-A0660 NCIC Check, Residency Certification, and a contractor pre-employment form, attached) shall be completed for each attendee and submitted to Jessica Toelle no later than 10:00 A.M.
