FCI Englewood is seeking to hire a licensed contractor to remove and replace the existing Patterson Kelley Model C-1050 PK Boilers that are located in the outside power house, in accordance with the attached statement of work. Enclosed is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, and is supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is a Request for Quote for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2020-09 by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Englewood (FCI), Littleton, Colorado. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The NAICS code for this request for quote is 238220, The Federal Supply Code for this RFQ is 44 – Furnace/Steam/Drying product service code: 4410 - Industrial Boiler. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This RFQ has been extended, quotes are now due by 2:00 PM Mountain Standard Time (MST) Friday, December 4, 2020. All quotes submitted must have specification sheets f or the line item, with the submittal. FCI Englewood will be conducting a site visit for RFQ 15B40321Q00000005, Removal and Installation of PK Boilers, on Wednesday December 2, 2020 at 11:00AM MST. Please refer to all original documents as the only changes are the extension of the quote due date and a site visit has been added. ***MODIFIED TO ADD PHOTOS OF SITE**** Photos show the bay door that will allow access to the powerhouse. All access is on ground level. The after entering the powerhouse the access narrows to 7 feet wide. it then narrows again when approaching the boiler location to 6 feet wide. The walk way to get to the boilers is 3 feet wide and they are the last two boiler shown furthest from where the photo is taken. Question: What forms we are to submit our bid on for this project? Answer: The top of page 2 along with your bid/proposal on your company letterhead. QUESTION: Is integration into the BAS system to be included in the scope? ANSWER:Yes, Per SOW: • The boiler control system shall be interfaced / capable of interfacing with the following external control devices: • Programed to operate with Mini-Mod Full Modulation Sequencing Controls. • Existing Boiler Remote Monitoring System by Johnson Controls. • Building Management System.
