The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Talladega, intends to issue a solicitation 15B31324Q00000016 for the requirements of: remove all old equipment and materials and provide and install new refrigeration units (condensers, evaporators, and compressors) at the FCI Foodservice and FPC foodservice and Warehouse, with onsite start up once its installed. All existing wiring will be used. Contractor will be responsible to wire up and pipe in all connections to properly have the new refrigeration units 100% functional. The contract type is firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make a formal single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offer(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that are considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, past performance being rated higher than price. The solicitation will be made available on or about July 17, 2024, and will be posted to the SAM.gov website: www.sam.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is August 01, 2024. Payments will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or via Government Purchase Card for awards of $10,000.00 or less. Each offer is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On line Representation and Certification Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov.
